Welcome to Royalston's public library, your hometown source for free books, e-books, audio books, magazines, movies, and more.
We offer programs for all ages, so please check out our calendar and Facebook feed below for upcoming events.
We look forward to seeing you!
Library of Things
Recently we have been adding items to our list of items you can borrow from the Library. Lately most of the items are for children but we hope to have a metal detector added soon. Watch the newsletter for details. This past month we have added two spriographs, one for younger kids and one for ages 8+; two Dressy Friends dolls, educational plush dolls which teach 7 dressing skills; two Speak-and-Spell Electronic Games, an updated version of a classic game to teach spelling; and a Best Learning clock, an award winning educational interactive talking clock.
Change is in the Air!
Starting July 2026, we will be open on Tuesdays instead of Mondays. This means Preschool Story Time will also move to Tuesdays.
Spice Club is back!
Stop by the library each month through May to pick up a new Spice Club kit and add some flavor to your cooking. Each kit includes a sample of the featured spice, helpful information about it, and recipes to inspire you in the kitchen. Kits are free while supplies last and generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Come discover something new and delicious!
Yoga with Jess
Spring is the time not only for the sap to flow but for your body to move fluids around as well. And, what better way to loosen those joints by spending an hour with Jess Schanz increasing your flexibility, strengthening your core, and breathing deeply. You will come away refreshed and revitalized. The Friends of the Library fund the class and free-will donations go directly to the instructor.
